Context and Challenges of the Assignment
A group specialized in services, bringing together a large network of agencies, is undertaking a modernization of its information system. The existing ERP, deployed several years ago, no longer meets the needs arising from evolving work practices (remote work, electronic document management, GDPR, etc.). Faced with the obsolescence of the system and internal resistance, management called upon a Transition Manager for a transformation mission. The assignment involves auditing the current system, gathering the needs of agencies and support functions, and proposing an integrated and adapted solution to the Executive Committee (CODIR).Key Objectives of the Assignment
This context imposes several major objectives.
- Assessment of the technical and functional limitations of the current ERP and identification of critical points
- Proposal of an integrated, scalable, and secure digital solution adapted to new work practices
- Support for existing teams to overcome resistance to change
- Guarantee of data protection and compliance with GDPR standards
Roles and Key Responsibilities
The Transition Manager leads the digital transformation with a structured and collaborative approach. His responsibilities focus on the following areas:- Development of an IT RoadmapDefinition of a plan aligned with the Group’s strategy and prioritization of investments necessary for modernization
- Definition and Monitoring of Performance IndicatorsImplementation of KPIs to measure user satisfaction and evaluate the return on investment of the proposed solutions
- Budget Management and Cost OptimizationMonitoring the proper use of financial resources and rigorous tracking of expenses related to the ERP project
- Consideration of International NeedsIntegration of the specific requirements of foreign agencies to ensure consistency and uniformity in tool deployment
- Digital Security and ComplianceEnsuring protection of data flows and adherence to regulatory obligations

The mission of the Interim CIO modernizes the information system while ensuring security, compliance, and operational performance. It enables the definition of a clear IT roadmap and the prioritization of investments for an effective ERP.
